The Secret of the Tree

The Secret of the Tree is a picture book text of about 1000 words that retells the legend of the origin of the True Cross. Many versions of this legend exist, and The Secret of the Tree draws on several of them to create an intriguing, lyrical story told from the Tree's point of view.
